Real bodgey stuff.

It is whatever comes with the Symbol handheld devices.

We have changed plenty of settings and have got it almost right. It is only
sometimes that they drop out and it brings up this screen which we want to
avoid.

Thanks

Nathan

Can you not increase the time limit for timeouts,
What emulation software are you using??

Subject: Reconnecting disconnected session automatically

Hi,

We are using HandHelds in our store with hardcoded device names so we can
use a particular sign on screen and subsystem.

When a session is disconnected and you reconnect you are given a display
where you can either type a 1 to recover the previous interactive job or a
90 to signoff the previous interactive job. This is fine except that with
such a small display they are having trouble reading all of the message and
we don't want them to sign off anyway.

Is there a way that we can stop this screen from being displayed when they
reconnect and make all sessions that are in this state try to reconnect.

We are running V4R3 and going to V4R5 in June/July.

TIA

Nathan
