Charly,

  As I understand it the 270 gets one bus only in the system unit which
includes the 7104 (a DASD only expansion). If you add the 5075 expansion
box, one additional bus is added.

  The dual processor system is still just one box with two processors
tucked inside.

  So as I understand it the max buses on a 270 is 2.

  Yes you can put a Load Source disk unit in a 5075 and two in a 5074
for use with LPAR.
