  • Subject: Are IBM software prices a secret?

Seems like getting software pricing info is harder than it should be...

I am interested in the current list price of P20 software:

V4R5 OS/400

CM1 Communications Utilities
PW1 Application Dev Toolset
PT1 Performance Tools
QU1 Query
RG1 RPG
ST1 DB2 Query Mgr and SQL DevKit
TC1 TCP/IP Connectivity Utilities
XE1 Client Access/400 Express

Other than PID and PIE discounts, are these ever discounted?

Does Code/400 include RG1 or PW1?

Is Code/400 still under $500 per seat?

When V5R1 comes out what should we expect for "upgrade" pricing?

If we have V4R5 software and "software subscription" coverage
will there even be an "upgrade" fee?

If there is somewhere I can get this info online, please let me
know and I promise I won't ask again.
