    Do you have any official or semi-official source for this 
statement?  It would be good news, for sure.  I had a short but 
intense e-mail exchange with IBM on this topic. The last thing I 
heard from them was that they were considering disallowing OPNQRYF 
from accessing files where any of the key fields had new features 
(this was a backpedal from their original statement).  As far as I 
was concerned, it was not much of an improvement.
