Charlotte,

Do an EDTOBJAUT PCAW *DEVD and check whether there's something odd about the
authorities on it. Normally *PUBLIC should have at least *USE, and this
specific user shouldn't even be listed.

The other possibility is that you set her up with *ALLOBJ authority and have
the system value QLMTSECOFR set to 1, in which case she would have to be
explicitly authorized to the device description, i.e. her profile would need
to be listed under EDTOBJAUT with at least *USE authority.

I hope this helps.

Dear List
I have a new user set up to access the As400 and JDE (A7.3.10). She is
connection via a PC using Client Access Express. However when she logs in
she gets the following: CFP2241 User Profile xxxxxx not authorised to *DEVD
QSYS/PCAW
Anyone have any ideas which parm it will be in the user profile, or indeed
will it be the Group profile authority?
It just seems strange as she can log in to other PC's fine - so it makes me
think that it's the Express installation rather than her profile - any gurus
out there who can give me some hints??
TIA
Charlotte
