Hopefully you have file layouts available to you... Without those the task
may by impossible in the first place.

Get the files saved from the Sys/36 and restored onto an AS/400. Native
OS/400 DDS can be created and CPYF MBROPT(*NOCHK) can port the data. Then
the data transfer will be available with native OS/400 and CA/400 methods.

If you need help because of DASD or media issues, we here at CMI have both
5 1/4 and 8 1/2 diskette as well as 1/4 and reel tape support. We have
helped many Sys/36 customers port their data to not only the AS/400 but
many PC platforms like Access, SQL and DB2. We have both RPG and Visual
Basic skills that will most likely be helpful.

Does anyone know of a way I can import file data from a System36 to an NT
server? Unfortunately, the client does not have an AS/400 and the System
36
is on its own twinax network. Can I use a 5250 emulator card in a PC and
somehow do a file transfer? Does anyone know of a software package that
can
do this?
TIA,
