Buck,
I have contribution for your FAQ list. We are a Unix shop but our
code is ported on an AS400 and likewise there have been a lot of AS400
questions. The past few months I've put together a list for 'signing on' the
system (menu, opsnav, linux interface etc.) and another list for FTP. Like
you mentioned, it's jumbled up, needs some fine tuning.

Subject: AS/400 FAQ

Some time ago, I volunteered to start an AS/400 FAQ for David.

I began snipping odds & ends from various places and lumping them into a MS
Word document. The idea was to capture the questions and format them later
in collaboration with a few others. Business being what it is, the other
folks had to drop out of the project, leaving me with my own embryonic
document.

This document is a mess; a disorganised and jumbled "stream of
consciousness" work. I do not know if there's any value to it in this
state, but I'm willing to share it with people who have experience with FAQs
and can offer very constructive advice.

I am finding the idea of taking ownership of an industry-wide FAQ is a
daunting and humbling task.
