Re: A/400 as e-mail server

You don't need a commercial package for the AS/400.  If you know how to 
configure SMTP  on the AS/400, you can use any (?) POP3 e-mail package.

A couple of months ago I sent in step-by-step instructions for configuring the 
Netscape mail application to send/receive e-mail from my AS/400.  Someone else 
sent in step-by-step instructions for configuring Outlook.
