I hope you mean 172.16.x.x since 172.198.x.x is a valid real-world
address.  You should really only use private addresses on the private
portion of your network (unless a host is really reachable on the
external address.)

Private addresses:
10.x.x.x  Full Class A
172.16.x.x - 172.31.x.x  Multiple Class B addresses
192.168.x.x  Multiple Class C addresses
