Since it sounds like you have everything set up, just to double check yourself, on the chgsmtpa do you have the smtp server and not the pop server set there, I
have made that mistake; also I have noticed that on that same menu working with smtp setup option 1 alias
you have to be in that table to be allowed to send internet e-mail, and also a "profile of pchappop is required to
exist in that table, along with the adddire "table".
 
one other thing, I assume you did an endtcpsvr *smtp and strtcpsvr *smtp after you made all these changes.. if not you do need to.
 
and before sending the "test" can you even ping the mail router (this would point to the table entries not being correct if you cannot)

I need help getting my AS/400 E-MAIL running.  I have configure the environment for TABLE ENTRY, CHGSMTPA, ADDDIRE AND CHGDSTA.
I get the messages below every time I use SNDDST but it always says it is completed normally.
