Here's the issue:

An insurance company, we generate policy declaration pages when an insured
comes on board, or when they change coverage. Each policy may have several
policy 'provisions' to explain the rules of the policy.

Our current process is for somebody to look at the Dec, grab the appropriate
provisions from a filing cabinet and place them in an envelope to send out.
When we get low on a particular policy provision we print more (stored in a
.pdf) or make copies.

Would like to automatically print the provisions at the same time the Dec is
printed (nightly batch run). As stated, the provisions are stored in .pdf
format (created in Word).

Is there a way to upload the .pdf to the 400 and print it within an RPG
program? The only solution we've found so far is to convert the file to a
forms generation software (Quark, etc), create an overlay and upload it.
Would rather not go through this process for the 50 or so forms required,
and would really rather not try and keep them all updated.

Thoughts?

Thanks, JN
