Billy,

I am not sure about the activation group, but I have found that it does not
work if you call it from an ILE program in batch. The problem I had is that
it tries to display a qshell prompt. The only fix that seemed to work was to
use a real OPM program. Not even an ILE program in the default activation
group worked. At that time, I did not find any APARs or PTFs and did not
have time to pursue a fix.

Is the activation group that the FTP system activation group runs in
a ILE activation group or does it function like the default activation
group? Since it has a name "1611", I would think it functions like a
named activation group.
