  • Subject: Solution for converting Older IBM 6262 Line Printers from Twinax to IP Connectivity

Does anyone have any experience with a transceiver that will allow an older IBM 6252 Twinax Based Printer to be connected via IP.

The Printer will be in a remote location that will not have twinax.   It would seem the conversion would be made where the local AS400 is housed converting it from a local Twinax controller in the Systems room to an IP that would be routed via our ATM Network to the remote site.

Any assistance will be appreciated.
