Hi Gurus,

I try to setup IBM HTTP-Server on a 400e 170 (256MB RAM) running V4R3.

It works, but if you open the machine's URL with Netscape, it
takes up to one minute before you see the Welcome-page.
Same happens if you follow a link to another page.
I have no idea, what could be the reason.

I have tested this in the evening, so I was the only user working on
the machine.I can't imagine, that HTTPSVR needs so much
ressources for serving simple HTML-pages.

I've got IBM HTTP-Server+Websphere running on a 586-linuxbox too, and there's
no problem.

Has anybody an idea, how to fix the problem ?

Thanks,
Andre Mueller
