I always heard that you have to send the red gov't approved form.  Why not
file electronically with the Feds?  That's what we do for all our companies,
even if they only print a couple 1099's.  You have to call and get a TCC #
(or something) and the rest is pretty easy.  You have to dial up their FIRE
(file information returns electronically) system, then use a web browser to
upload your file from your PC.  We did it last year for the first time and
it was REAL easy.

I have the 1099 form created in EZPrint if anyone would like it.  

Does anyone know the requirement on the form that goes to the IRS?  My 
accountant thinks they won't accept it in black.  He thinks the form has to
be 
in red.  He said they  may accept the info in the correct spots without 
printing the form instead of printing everything in black.
