Hi, ref above subject, thanks to all who answered.
Solved the problem.
Not exactly, but somehow similar to "duplicate names on the network" or the 
like;
just SystemName for the AS/400 had the same name as the DomainName we were using
in the Network (why XXX . XXX should cause a problem ?...) Changing the
SystemName (plus the NetServer Name, as before, starting with a "Q") to a
different name made the trick...
The only additional problem was to change ALL names (and Distribution Lists,
WRKDSTL...) under WRKDIRE to new value, since we are using AS/400 as Mail (POP)
Server for the net's PC's using Outlook (they'll go later for Domino).
Well, solved it anyway. Thanks again to everybody.
