  • Subject: Access QOpenSYS from Unix
  • From: Dave Murvin <davem@xxxxxxxx>

I am trying to use a file in the QOpenSys file system for interchange
between AS/400 running V4R4 and a Unix box running Solaris 2.7. I have
"assumed" that this should work much like sharing file with windows, but
the Unix guys are having trouble seeing the file.

Authorities should be okay and file shares have been enabled.

Is there something else I need to do on the AS/400 side and what do the
Unix guys need to do?

Thanks
Dave Murvin
