  • Subject: Problems with a Perle 494 Controller...
  • From: Chuck Lewis <clewis@xxxxxxxxxx>

Hi folks,

Got a "strange" one. We have a Perle 494 Control Unit with the Ethernet
card in it running TCP/IP over frame back to our AS/400 (using this at 8
remote locations). Was working FINE until about 2 hours ago. It has a
error message of
351 ||  00124.

They have tried rebooting the thing multiple times. It reads the
diskette and then does it's usual fumbling around and eventually
displays this message.

I can ping the router fine (Cisco).
I can ping a UPS fine (APC UPS with SNMP Web card in it - really slick
!)
I have one PC that is attached via TCP/IP and IT is fine (running
Synapse software).

I've got a message into Perle but have been waiting for SOME time now.

Any ideas ?

Thanks !

Chuck
