Have you considered Ftp'ing the file directly to the regular AS/400 file 
structure and bypassing the IFS altogether?  Then of course you could put 
a trigger on the file  to perform whatever new function you desire?

Thanks for the input on IFS .
 
What I have in mind and need is similar to a data queue to an output queue 
and 
by using an API program QRCVDTAQ with a wait condition of -1 inside it to 
manipulate the data .
 
I alraedy use CPYTOSTMF & CPYFRMSTMF in a CPP but I need it to be 
automatic .
