  • Subject: Copying a file with Extended Attributes to the \QNTC file system.

When I copy a file from the \QDLS file system, that has a code page of 437
and an Extended Attribute size of 0 my CPY command works fine, the file goes to
my \QNTC folder without a hitch. However, when I copy a file from the \QOPT file
system that has a code page of 500 and an extended attribute size of 1024, the
CPY command returns the "CPFA0AD - Function not supported by file system" error.
This leads me to believe that the \QNTC file system does not support extended
attributes.
Is this true, and if so, is there anyway to remove these extended
attributes from the file before I do the CPY command to the \QNTC file system?
Is this a PTF problem maybe?
     Thanks in advance.......
