Booth, I suspect you will need to use a named printer device and
configure the TRANSFORM, MFRTYPMDL, and SYSDRVPGM to identify the
printer as an HP PJL device. I am sure that host print transform
must be used to do this.

Here's the error message I get:

 Message ID . . . . . . : CPA3388
 Date sent . . . . . . : 12/26/00 Time sent . . . . . . :
10:22:10

 Message . . . . : Attributes of file APN1099O not supported for device

   QPADEV0001. (C G T H I)

 Cause . . . . . : Writer QPADEV0001 found attributes of file APN1099O
number
1 job 238861/BOOTH/QPADEV0004 on output queue QPADEV0001 in library
QUSRSYS
that are not supported for device QPADEV0001. The error code, or codes,
are
   2. The error codes and their meaning are as follows:
1 - Page size of file not supported on device.
2 - Device type of file not supported on device.
3 - Lines per inch (LPI) of file not supported on device.

The device is a HP IISI PC laser printer. The printer session is
configured automatically. Both the device and the Client Access session
are set for Host Print Transform. The WRKDEVD for QPADEV001 shows as a
3812 printer.

Any ideas?
