With the S/38 architecture was immature, damage occurred to objects 
routinely.  Today, the system is highly stable, and damaged objects are

crashes, which is very rare.  OS/400 is the most stable OS in the 
world.  (That's why Microsoft uses it, although they claim that they 
don't.  But then again, when was the last time that they told the truth.)
