I assume the "Search" option you are referring to is just the "Search this
site" link and NOT the archives. As long as the archives continue to be
searchable then an AS/400 based site is great. However if it costs me the
archive search them I'd rather stay where I am.

I'd like some help testing things out on a new server ... please take a 
moment and server over to http://test.midrange.com and let me know if you 
encounter any difficulties.

With assistance from John Ross and Netshare 400, the main MIDRANGE.COM web 
site will soon be running on an AS/400!

Known problems: The search engine does NOT work (it's dependent on 
frontpage server extensions).

If you encounter any anomalies, please contact me directly.
