1. Work with Query Manager Queries
Create SQLSTR01 (in Query creation mode : SQL)
 >>  select count(*) from &FILE where &COLUMN <> 0
Exit and Save
STRQMQRY  QMQRY(SQLSTR01)  SETVAR((FILE 'XXXXXXX')  (COLUMN 'YYYYYYY'))
Works if COLUMN is numeric...
