Larry, I have to concur with Avi.  In my experience, when you start using
multi-function copier/printer/fax devices as AS/400 printers, there is usually
a lot more user intervention required.  From my perspective, I become less
productive when having to print AS/400 reports from them.  The Konica we use
has to have its "magic box" rebooted every once in awhile - could be five
times one day, then none the next; I'd say we average 2-3 reboots daily.

Get a commonly good printer like HP or IBM
with a ethernet card inside it running PCL5 using TCP/IP ...
Think about it ...
