I have 2 programs to manage ANONYMOUS ftp on AS/400 :

                        1 for QIBM_QTMF_SVR_LOGON (TCPL0100 format)
                and
                        1 for QIBM_QTMF_SERVER_REQ (VLRQ0100 format)

everything works fine......user ANONYMOUS can work only in a library
called PUBLIC only for LIST FILES and SEND FILES operations..

As this system didn't work making FTP//HOSTNAME from Internet Explorer
(following is the error I GOT) .......

An error occurred opening the folder on the FTP
                    server
                    550- Namefmt set to 1
                    550- Request Rejected

I tried to investigate over Internet and I found that in V4R4 release
is possible to use the TCPL0200 format of QIBM_QTMF_SVR_LOGON exit
point that uses 4 additional parameter to be used in exit program that
enables the use of IFS DIRECTORIES

        INITIAL HOME DIRECTORY
        LENGHT OF INITIAL HOME DIRECTORY
        APPLICATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION
        LENGHT OF APPLICATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION

I tried to modify the exit program but I have some doubts about the
parameter APPLICATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION that seems to be defined as
3 sub-fields
......shall I defined 1 parameter or 3 ???

Did anyone implent the TCPL0200 format of QIBM_QTMF_SVR_LOGON exit
point ???

(I found the documentation on www.as400.ibm.com/infocenter and
searching FTP EXIT POINT)

Thank you

Best regards
