I should also correct a misconception in your post.  The fact that you do
not have the C compiler in no way limits your ability to use C functions in
RPG IV.  See the RPG Redbook ("Who knew you could do ......" SG2454-02 at
www.redbooks.ibm.com) for worked examples of using the C math library (and
other routines) from RPG.
