I haven't set up a Lexmark as an IP printer, but I have done a Xerox.  I got 
some helpful information from IBM's web site at as400service.rochester.ibm.com.

I downloaded documents entitled "Configuring a Remote Output Queue (RMTOUTQ)" ; 
and " Configuring a *LAN 3812 PJL Device Description" and "Recommended PJL Port 
Number Values for *LAN 3812 Device Descriptions" 

There were others too.  These specifically refer to the Optra printer line.
