Title: RE: MIDRANGE-L Digest V3 #926

RTVOBJD requires that I already know a library which contains the CLP program or that I use *LIBL to find it. What I need is the data similar to the PGM status data structure which can be coded in RPG.

That begs the question "Can I get that Data Structure in CL". I need the library because all subsequent calls and fully qualified object references must be from the same library as the initial call to the CLP. I can't pass parms to the CL, and I can't mess with the library list on the fly. I'd call a user written program to get the structure but I need the library name to know which pgm to call. Catch 22.
