Folks,

Thank you for the feedback. I should have elaborated on our specific
needs before asking for feedback. We are a large global company with a
heterogeneous environment (Mainframe, HP3000's, AS400's, RS/6000's, many NT
servers). We are looking for a "common" tool to implement security
reporting. We already have a home grown CL program that gives adequate
reporting for most AS/400 sites. However, we are a company that grew
through numerous acquisition so we currently have some different security
auditing practices within different divisions, plants and platforms, etc.
We understand that there is no magical "one size fits all" solution. The
goal is to come up with common security guidelines for all sites and
platforms (which we have done). The next step is to find an application or
tool that will give us a centralized security auditing process for all
platforms. We recently saw a demonstration of the Pentasafe product which
looked appealing. Any help locating a product that will help us accomplish
this task is appreciated.
