I'm on V4R3M0 CUM 028xxxxxx (Current).  Upgraded 2 weeks ago from V3R7.
What job is CFINT01 ?
 
====> it is not a job in the traditional sense. CFINT01 is mainly the 'interactive
workload governor' that ensures that you do not do more interactive work than
you have paid IBM to be allowed to do. There are persistent (never substantiated)
claims that CFINT01 also has some lesser bookkeeping functions. The 01 is
for the first processor. If your system had 4 processors you would find a 02,
03 and 04 as well.
 
in other words: CFINT01 sucks up processor power that you have, but are not
allowed to use.
