When we switched from twinax to tcp/ip there was a
favorable increase in response time.  I suspect that
your problem is related to possibly to the subsystem
that the tcp/ip device is running in or possibly the
router itself.  How is the reponse time for other
interactive jobs as compared to how it was prior to
going tcp/ip?
