I just got a Midrange Computing magazine "ShowCase" which quotes
Soltis directly........ I assume that this was checked prior to
publication.... Soltis has always been very outspoken concerning the
400 and I'm sure there is some "baiting" going on regarding the 
story.

I.B.M and MS have been business partners for years and continue to
develop new deals all the time, so it's not surprising that they
wanted to get a little "shot" at MS..... Urban Legend aside, I tend
to believe the story.
