Actually Barbara the test was against the %scan & %subst in one program and
the StrTok in the other.  StrTok was 22% faster than %scan/%subst parsing.
I had blown away the array processing when we went from RPGIII to RPGIV a
couple of years ago.  What a performance difference that made.

Chris, I'd try the %scan and %subst version too.  Array processing
is pretty slow - I expect a scan/subst version would outperform
an array-processing version by more than 22%.  Just a guess though.
