You are correct in that the rules for where to put the card are very
specific. The card should have been shipped with the rules that
indicated how to locate a slot for it. I believe that those rules are
also in the hardware manuals for the 600. Basically there is only one
high speed IOA slot available under each IOP. If the card is in a low
speed IOA slot it wont work. It's even possible that another IOP will be
required before the card can be utilized.
