Thanks for the offer of help.  I think that a better solution for us would
be to connect directly from the client, not the E(logo) Iseries.  Our users
will be using a PC program (written in Lansa and compiled in C++) to select
the data off of the e(logo) Iseries.  If they choose to have the imaging
system print or fax the item, the client side software can do the connect to
the imaging systems SQL server.

BTW.  It's really boring typing e(logo) ISeries.

The way we've done this before is to write a sockets server on the NT that
does an ODBC SQL insert of data that comes from the AS/400. Takes a liitle
SQL CLI programming, but its not hard to do. And the AS/400 side just needs
the sockets client. Give me a call if you want to discuss further.
