I was thinking he wanted to do a "fold" type of thing which I believe 
needs to be handled differently in a Windows or Java environment.  I have 
never been able to do a multi-line subfile record with VARPG, but the few 
times I wanted to I soon realized my real problem was a messed-up design. 

One nice thing about the VaRPG subfile though is being able to select one 
line,  several contiguous lines, or select non-contiguous lines, all for 
processing at one time.

(1) Pull Subfile part onto your canvas

(2) Set selection style to single (one subfile record per line)

(3) Select Field list - define your subfile fields, referencing the DB2
fields you want to display

(4) Retrieve the values from the DB2 table, move them into the subfile
fields, and write to the subfile
