Title: RE: Need Macintosh FTP Client for AS/400

Have you tried sending "quote site namefmt 1" (no quote marks) to the AS/400?  This will make the AS/400 native file structure look like this: library.lib/filename.file/membername.mbr

Subject: Need Macintosh FTP Client for AS/400

Does anyone know of a Macintosh FTP client that will work with the
AS/400 FTP server's non-standard directory listing?  Interarchy won't
work at all and Fetch shows the list but can't tell the difference
between a file and a folder.  Netscape works OK for up and
downloading, but you can't do renaming, deleting or other FTP stuff.

Taking another approach, I don't suppose there a secret option to
get the AS/400 FTP server to list directories in a Unix-style format
(OK, you can stop laughing now).  AS/400 is on V3R7 if it matters.

    Thanks,
