Peter/Valentin,

Workstation entries in QCTL make no difference when doing a Save 21, since
the QCTL subsystem is ended along with all the others. The ONLY workstation
that can get a sign on screen when QCTL is ended is the console, and only
one session can be active there. This situation is one of the reasons why
option 6 to display the QSYSOPR message queue was added to the system
request menu, so that QSYSOPR is always accessible from the console even
during a dedicated operation.

Hi Valentin,

Take a look at the subsystem description for QCTL (DSPSBSD QCTL) and note
these items:

4. Work station name entries

If your workstation ID (which you can generally choose with most PC-based
software) matches one of the entries in option 4, that's where you will get
a signon screen. The entries could be generic (e.g. DSP*), so any ID you
choose that starts the same would get in.

so if I am locked by a message - I could go there and unlock myself.
