You jest Leif, but that could well have been it !

We had some "comedians" in the plant where I used to work that were CONSTANTLY
playing pranks on each other. Along with paging the person for the 10th time in 
5
minutes (hanging up the first 9) and transfering the FURIOUS person paged to the
INTERCOM ("WHAT the &&%#% do you want...") - that was actually a pretty good one
- they also "rearranged" so of the keys on the keyboard. Obvious problem for a
touch typist :-)
