Congratulations on the move.  Check out the Redbook called AS/400 HTTP
Server Performance and Capacity Planning, SG24-5645-00.

Also check out the Cascade/400 User Group web site at  www.cascade400.com.
We just finished an education day and Web performance was one of the topics.
The presentation materials are posted there, including my humble discussion
of Web Performance.

The main element of performance monitoring and tuning is that you have to
match log analysis with CPU usage.  The Red Book really does a good job in
describing the processs.  One recommendation for monitoring is using a tool
like WebTrends (www.webtrends.com).  It shows how your site handles the
peaks, hits and though-put of Web serving, mostly by analysis of the logs.
