  • Subject: Receiving Request Messages Question
  • From: Paul Jackson <paulgjackson@xxxxxxxxx>

Hello,
is it possible to receive a request message from the
*EXT queue and leave it in "new" status so that it
will continue to be executed? With all of the methods
i've tried, when you receive a request message, it is
flagged as "old" and will not be processed when the
job transfers to a request processor (such as QCMD).

Also I cannot resend it because it will be the first
message in a set of messages in a Database Job source
member and will end up out of sequence.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Paul
