Not problems as such, (but as Barbara Morris stated before I could) you
can't get to the joblog messages from a system call - I needed to, to get
the job info of a just submitted job to do a givediscriptor() call.

For adhoc calls to do things where your care level is did/didn't work then
system() is useable.
