move & pointer with RPG

Is there a way to move a field A who contain an external named field to a field B. (pointer ?)
Exemple :
    EXTFLD is an external named field
 
    MOVE 'EXTFLD'  to FIELD_A
    MOVE FIELD_A to FIELD_B
