RE: Client Access ADO & ODBC Logon Error

CA Express try to use your windows logon to logon to the AS400.  You can
change this behavior.  Within Ops Nav, right click on your AS400 and select
Properties.  The connection tab has your AS400 signon information.  Select
Prompt every time or a default user profile instead of use Windows ....
If you do not have Ops Nav installed, well that you have to hack in the
registry I think.

I'm attempting to connect to a V4R4 machine with V4R4 CA Express (latest
service packs) using ODBC and ADO from MS Word. On most machines it works
great. However, on some machines I get an "Unexpected Error 80004005.
Connect returned -4" error on the connect. The PC Client Access history log
shows a "CWBSY1006 - User ID is invalid" error. I'm not providing a user id!

Any ideas?
