Janet,

I joined the forum. I haven't made any comments because I have had trouble
reading a lot of the threads. I've been complaining about News/400's web
forums since the first one was established, and although they change THEY
NEVER GET ANY BETTER! They waste my time, and I don't have enough of that
to be wasting as much as they seem to consume. Consequently, I almost
always end up leaving in disgust.

Note that my reasons have nothing at all to do with COMMON.

It would be if we let COMMON slide into being just another trade show!
COMMON
needs to be more than just a trade show and bi-annual education conference;
any
of the midrange magazines can serve that need profitably. COMMON needs to
be a
USER's group promoting relationships and sharing of experience...

But maybe I'm alone in thinking COMMON needs to revert back to its roots.
Not
many have joined us for discussion over in the COMMON Town Hall Meeting at
http://www.as400network.com/forums/Main.cfm?CFApp=70.

COMMON is celebrating 40 years of very rich history in Baltimore this
November.
Maybe that is enough, and it should just go away gracefully?
