  • Subject: FTP rename on Windows 2000

I have some automated FTP scripts running on an AS/400 for file transfers. In
some scripts I do a ren command to rollover files giving a backup copy. On
NT 4.0, the rename will replace an existing file. Now I'm trying the same
scripts with a Windows 2000 server. It fails on the rename because the
new name matches an existing file. It will let me delete it, so I know I have
the appropriate rights. Has anyone run into this before?
