Title: RE: AS/400 FTP Issue... Need Help!

The AS/400 ftp session has a default 600 second inactivity timeout. You can change the limit within a session to the AS/400 with the command - quote time xxxx - where xxxx is the limit in seconds. I believe the upper limit is 2147483647 seconds.  If you don't want any time limit at all, set the limit to 0 (zero).

To All,

Why does the FTP command have a 600 second timeout when it encounters a error?
How do I change this timeout value?
I am using the command inside a CL program....

Thanks in advance,

Tom Kennedy
