My data is probably dated, but I have found that many Mag writers are listed
in the publications of the press that reports on the press, hosted by various
schools of Journalism. For example, Forbes Inc. publishes an annual Media
Guide, reviewing the most influential journalists, from perspective of which
ones influence Political leadership in Washington DC & Financial leadership
on Wall Street. Which Journalists are the leaders of their "profession"
covering Science & Technology, Business & Economics, etc.

Call 1-800-825-0061 & ask about buying a recent Media Guide.
They will try to sell you their periodical on Journalism.
In my opinion, if is Ok if you have not seen the periodicals from the schools
of Journalism.

I want to contribute to this proposed advertisement ... tell me address to
mail my real $ check to ... I do not trust e-money yet.

I think some of the AS/400 trade press (like News/400) might be willing to
print the proposed ad for free along with address to send $ to contribute to
fund to put this ad in Wall Street Journal, and other relevant business press.

If the ad did it well & included right address to reach IBM leadership, I
would photocopy my News/400 or whatever was helping with the fundraising & be
one of the people adding to the pile of IBM mail bags. I am tempted to do
that right now with some web site pages.

Does anyone at IBM corporate pay any attention to the IBM AS/400 press?
Contacting Rochester is just preaching to a choir that has no say in this.
