Unfortunately QDATE also does not meet the need, as it's value changes across 
midnight.  So if a job starts at 11:00 PM and writes a record to the file with 
the key JobUser/JobName/JobNumber/20000821 (August 21,2000) and 2 hours later 
chains to the file using a freshly retrieved QDATE, the chain will fail, 
despite there being a record in the file for the job.  -DaveK
